Built by the founding APAC Executive Recruiting team at Uber, we bridge the gap between in-house and agency recruitment by bringing the rigor, data, and advisory mindset of an internal talent acquisition team with the flexibility, market access, and search capability of an external recruiting agency. We've placed 100+ executives across 10 markets in APAC for some of the world's most innovative companies, including Uber, Airbnb, Square, Netflix, Amazon, Wise, and PSG.

The Opportunity
Conduit is at an inflection point. The foundation is set, clients trust us, and the demand is there. To help us take on the opportunities in front of us, we’re seeking an ambitious, motivated, and action-oriented Senior Recruiter.
This role is ideal for someone who:
● Has experience recruiting and wants to break free from and is comfortable without rigid organizational structures and procedures

● Is self-aware, doesn’t have an ego, and loves to learn and share their knowledge with others
● Is comfortable with ambiguity and just figuring things out
What You'll Do
● Own a portfolio of client relationships, operating as a true recruitment partner and trusted talent advisor, not just a vendor
● Lead searches end-to-end: intake, search strategy, sourcing, candidate assessment, client management, offer, and closing deals
● Contribute to business development, expanding relationships within existing clients and eventually working towards bring in new ones
● Represent the Conduit brand with the same standards we hold ourselves to: honest dialogue, deep preparation, and genuine care for candidates and clients alike
Who You Are
● 4+ years of experience in executive search, in-house talent leadership, or a combination of both
● You have a network in Japan or APAC and know how to work it with purpose and integrity
● You think like or want to enhance your skills: you care about reputation, repeat business, getting things done and doing things right
● Collaborative by nature, you share credit, share knowledge, and don't hoard relationships
● Experienced enough with recruitment and hiring in the Japan market to advise clients on hiring strategy, trends, compensation, and candidate behavior
● Bilingual (English/Japanese) is a plus but not a hard requirement
● Currently have working eligibility in Japan
